Mason entered their tilt with Kings on Saturday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 9-6. The game was the first time the Comets have beaten the Knights on their field since April 29, 2017.

Ollie Stuart looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Cade Landheer was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Liam Sander was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Mason's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Kings, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mason will head out to challenge Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kings, they will face off against Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
