Basketball Game Preview: Enumclaw Hornets vs. Adna Pirates

The Enumclaw Hornets will venture away from home to take on the Adna Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Enumclaw put up the most points they have all season on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-24 victory over Klahowya. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hornets had established a 31-point advantage.

Enumclaw's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayla Feddema led the charge by putting up 14 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Ava Smith was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Enumclaw was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Klahowya only racked up three.

Meanwhile, Adna humbled Tumwater with a 73-42 victory. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Pirates this season.

The win made it two in a row for Adna and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Enumclaw, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
