Basketball Recap: Hawthorne Takes a Loss

Hawthorne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions and fell 44-16.

Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.

Hawthorne won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eastern Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology and Saddle Brook will compete for holiday cheer at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology's defense has only allowed 25.5 points per game this season, so Saddle Brook's offense will have their work cut out for them.
