Softball Recap: Strasburg-Franklin Comes Up Short

The Strasburg-Franklin Tigers came up short against the Louisville Leopards on Wednesday and fell 6-1.

Strasburg-Franklin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caradi Hartline, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That hit marked the first that Hartline got this season.

Strasburg-Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Louisville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7-1 record this season.

Strasburg-Franklin will challenge North Ridgeville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Louisville, they will venture away from home to face off against Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Polar Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
