Basketball Game Preview: Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights vs. South Milwaukee Rockets

The Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights will head out to take on the South Milwaukee Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Milwaukee Lutheran and 14 for South Milwaukee.

Last Tuesday, Milwaukee Lutheran came up short against Whitnall and fell 58-48. While losing is never fun, the Red Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Falcons are ranked 58th).

Meanwhile, South Milwaukee was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 38-37 to Brown Deer.

Milwaukee Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for South Milwaukee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Everything came up roses for Milwaukee Lutheran against South Milwaukee in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 74-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milwaukee Lutheran since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
