Northpoint Christian is 9-1 against First Assembly Christian since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. First Assembly Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Northpoint Christian, who comes in off a win.

Northpoint Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Arlington, who was ranked first in their home state at the time (Northpoint Christian was ranked 11th). The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers on Monday.

While Northpoint Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Arlington scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, First Assembly Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of West Memphis Christian.

First Assembly Christian couldn't get the win, but they sure gave West Memphis Christian a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 28-30, 23-25, 25-14, 15-10.

Northpoint Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for First Assembly Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Northpoint Christian's way against First Assembly Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Northpoint Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
