Bigfork has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Whitefish has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Vikings & Valkyries will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bigfork's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ronan 56-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings & Valkyries' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Montana football rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Chiefs are ranked 63rd).

Bigfork's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tamret Savik, who picked up 40 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Savik a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Cole Schmit, who threw for 61 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Whitefish was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Libby 48-21. With the Bulldogs ahead 27-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Luke Dalen and Tristan Andersen. Dalen had a great game and rushed for 107 yards and four scores on only 14 carries. Meanwhile, Andersen was balling out in the loss, rushing for 82 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 194 yards and a pair of TDs.
