Football Recap: Orcutt Academy Piles Up the Points Against Malibu

The Orcutt Academy Spartans really took it to the Malibu Sharks for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-18 win. The Spartans pushed the score to 52-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Sharks cut but never quite recovered from.

Orcutt Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 26 points this season. As for Malibu, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Orcutt Academy has already played their next matchup, a 62-38 win against Coast Union on the 13th. As for Malibu, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-12 victory against United Christian Academy on the 12th.
