Basketball Recap: Moon Area Takes a Loss

Moon Area has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 62-53 to the Greater Latrobe Wildcats on Monday.

Moon Area's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Greater Latrobe, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

Coming up, Moon Area will be taking part in a tournament against Penn-Trafford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Penn-Trafford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Moon Area likes a good challenge. Greater Latrobe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
