Windham proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Westbrook Blue Blazes 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since September 21, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Windham got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 20-25, 25-14, 20-25, 15-6.

Sydney Harmon paced Windham's offense, picking up nine kills. Harmon got some help from Josephine Sibley and her 24 assists. Sibley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Windham's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Westbrook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Windham will square off against Kennebunk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Falmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
