Basketball Recap: East Central Wins Going Away Against Pine City

East Central won the last time they faced Pine City and things went their way on Friday too. The East Central Eagles enjoyed a cozy 76-61 victory over the Pine City Dragons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

East Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Pine City, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

East Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pine City, they will square off against Braham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Braham knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Pine City likes a good challenge.
