Soccer Game Preview: Granger vs. Royal

The Granger Spartans will take on the Royal Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Granger has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Royal will arrive with four straight victories.

Last Friday, Granger came up short against College Place and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Royal). Their defense stepped up to hand La Salle a 7-0 shutout on Friday. Give Royal's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Granger's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Royal, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
