Softball Recap: Saline Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Saline waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Ringgold Redskins with a sharp 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Saline's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ringgold, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Saline and Ringgold will both be playing Dodson the next time they take the field. Ringgold will host Dodson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Saline will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
