While Como Park was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Richfield's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

Como Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Richfield, they moved to 7-9 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.
