Football Game Preview: Holy Cross Cougars vs. Butler Bears

The Holy Cross Cougars will face off against the Butler Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Cross has given up an average of 33.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Holy Cross is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Thursday. They took a hard 42-27 fall against Bethlehem. Despite 96 more yards than the Eagles/Banshees, the Cougars couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Holy Cross' defeat came about despite a quality game from Jerek Hoover, who rushed for 118 yards and one score.

Butler fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 13-7 W against Seneca.

Holy Cross now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Butler, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
