South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 15-0 defeat at the hands of the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles. For Bishop Carroll's part, Keira Stripling made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Stripling was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Ani Marcotte was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, a run, and a double. Another player making a difference was Zoe Buessing, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI.
