East had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 50-24 margin over the South Bison. Given the Thunderbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Bison are ranked 57th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
