Basketball Recap: Northern Adirondack Bobcats vs. Saranac Spartans
Northern Adirondack played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 70-43 loss at the hands of the Saranac Spartans. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Saranac to victory were Carson Duffield and Xavier Dubay. Duffield posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and five assists, while Dubay had 19 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Dubay a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Napper, who earned six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Northern Adirondack's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Saranac, they moved to 4-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
Northern Adirondack wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-43 loss against Ticonderoga on the 24th. Saranac has also already played their next contest, an 81-53 victory against Massena on the 25th.
