Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). They came out on top against the Blackfoot Broncos by a score of 82-72 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Bobcats who have now won 11 games in a row.

Blackfoot's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Austin Arave, who went 10 for 17 en route to 26 points, and Kasen Sorensen, who went 10 of 16 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. Those 26 points gave Arave a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bowen Bench, who posted ten points and seven boards.

Madison's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.9 points per game. As for Blackfoot, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Madison will head out to square off against Thunder Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Thunder Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Madison likes a good challenge. As for Blackfoot, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-56 win against Burley on the 25th.
