Basketball Recap: Rogers City Find Success

Rogers City hadn't done well against Hillman recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rogers City Hurons walked away with a 56-43 win over the Hillman Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Hurons: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 53-49 loss.

Despite the loss, Hillman still got an impressive performance from Cuyler Schultz, who went 6 for 8 en route to 12 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Ty Muszynski, who posted ten points and five boards.

Rogers City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Hillman, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Rogers City will challenge Whittemore-Prescott at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillman, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
