Soccer Game Preview: Aurora Central vs. Kennedy

The Aurora Central Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Kennedy Commanders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Aurora Central's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Aurora Central came up short against Regis Groff on Tuesday, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Kennedy's offense. They lost 6-0 to DSST: Montview on Thursday. The Commanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aurora Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Aurora Central took their victory against Kennedy when the teams last played back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aurora Central since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
