Basketball Recap: Collin Andrews' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Carson City-Crystal over Coleman

Carson City-Crystal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 47-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coleman Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 50-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Carson City-Crystal lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Collin Andrews, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Andrews a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kieran Craddock, who put up eight points and eight rebounds.

Carson City-Crystal's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Coleman, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Carson City-Crystal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-25 defeat against Vestaburg on the 11th. As for Coleman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-32 loss against Sacred Heart Academy on the 11th.
