Everything went their way against the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes as they made off with a 19-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mavericks, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Karsyn Carrier, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Carley Williams was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
