Softball Recap: Edison Has No Trouble Against Buckeye Local

Edison won the last time they faced Buckeye Local and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-5 win. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Edison and bumps their season record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Buckeye Local, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Edison has already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against Martins Ferry on the 23rd. As for Buckeye Local, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 defeat against Beaver Local on the 19th.
