Basketball Recap: Lyman Falls Short Against Ranked Mountain View

On Saturday, Lyman faced Mountain View in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lyman Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 50-37 to the Mountain View Buffalos, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Mountain View, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyman will take on Rawlins at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Lyman is facing Rawlins at the right time seeing as Rawlins is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they will face off against Buffalo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
