Herrin has gone 9-1 against Harrisburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Tigers will head out on the road to  challenge  the Bulldogs  at 5:00  p.m. Herrin has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 22.
On Tuesday, Herrin didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Vernon and fell  2-1. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams  25-14 in the first  set.
 Herrin actually scored more points across those three sets (66-64), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-20,  25-21.
 The losing side was boosted by   Kylie Wagoner-Smith, who  had 12  digs.  Aryanna Randall also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Meanwhile, Harrisburg came up short against Murphysboro on Tuesday and fell  2-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 The final score came out to 25-16,  25-18.
 Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Herrin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.
