Westside entered their tilt with Aquinas on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Aquinas Fightin' Irish 78-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 78-50 back in December of 2024.

Westside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dontrell Jackson, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 15 points. Jackson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Aldrion Jones was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Westside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Aquinas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Westside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-34 loss against Cross Creek on the 11th. As for Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-42 defeat against Harlem on the 11th.
