The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pierce City, who took down 243rd ranked Pierce City, 36-14. Brodie Bien threw for 38 yards and ran for 144 yards in the win.

Sarcoxie extended the longest winning streak in Spring River Valley this week by beating Jasper, 40-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Greenfield's dynamic duo of Dalton Brollier and Anthony Schwindler proved tough for Liberal to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brollier threw for 117 yards and one touchdown and Schwindler had 93 yards receiving. Kelby Davis helped Greenfield's passing attack out by catching two balls for 29 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Kole Kelley and Cedric O'Hara the Eagles have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Kelley leads the league in passing with 447 yards, while O'Hara has rushed for 865 yards this season. Miller's Derrick Estell leads the league in receiving yards with 162 on eight catches.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pierce City takes on the Cardinals. At the moment, Matt Holt's team is in third, while Miller is in second.

McAuley Catholic moved up to 240 from 298 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 28-21 win over Ash Grove helped the Warriors improve their standing.
