Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Gainesville's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Gainesville won the last time they faced Seckinger and things went their way on Friday too. The Gainesville Red Elephants took down the Seckinger Jaguars 67-48. Given the Red Elephants' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Jaguars are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gainesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for Seckinger, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

As of now, neither Gainesville nor Seckinger have any future games scheduled.
