Softball Recap: Holtville Takes a Loss

Holtville lost against Brawley last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings lost 12-2 to the Wildcats. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holtville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Brawley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Holtville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Brawley, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mt. Carmel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
