Basketball Game Preview: Rittman Indians vs. Medina Christian Academy Knights

The Rittman Indians will challenge the Medina Christian Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rittman is looking for their season's first win.

Last Thursday, Rittman was beaten by Waynedale 57-3. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 747th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 285th).

Meanwhile, Medina Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since February 21, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Oberlin, falling 46-26. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rittman will need focus on slowing down Leah Stroup, one of several Medina Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Conwill, who scored six points.

Rittman's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Medina Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
