Football Recap: Idalia Piles Up the Points Against Walsh

Idalia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Walsh Eagles, posting a 53-6 victory. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Eagles are ranked 29th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jace Morris and Carson Helling. Morris gained 40 total yards and two touchdowns while Helling punched in one rushing score.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Idalia's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Holden Soehner with two.

Idalia's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Walsh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Idalia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 80-32 victory against Stratton on the 26th. As for Walsh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 52-44 loss against Eads on the 26th.
