After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Albert Gallatin, Carmichaels was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Avella Eagles 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Mighty Mikes in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carmichaels was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-11.

Baylee Landau was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five digs and three aces.

Carmichaels' record now sits at 3-10. As for Avella, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
