Braddock and Southwest are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Braddock's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Braddock fell victim to Homestead and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Southwest was not quite Archbishop Carroll's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 2-0 defeat to the Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that Southwest have lost by exactly two goals.

Braddock's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-6. As for Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

Everything went Braddock's way against Southwest in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as Braddock made off with a 5-0 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
