Basketball Recap: Fairless Comes Up Short

Fairless was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Manchester Panthers and fell 71-35. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 753rd, while the Panthers are ranked 288th).

Fairless' record is now 4-13. As for Manchester, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairless has already played their next contest (against Tuslaw), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Manchester Panthers face off against the Canton South Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
