Volleyball Recap: Valley Stream Central Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Valley Stream Central lost to Freeport back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles blew past the Red Devils 3-0.

While Valley Stream Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Freeport scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Valley Stream Central's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Freeport, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Valley Stream Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Herricks on the 15th. As for Freeport, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Uniondale at 6:45 p.m. on October 9.
