Basketball Recap: Smoky Valley Home Educators Takes a Loss

Smoky Valley Home Educators was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wichita Defenders HomeSchool Defenders. That's two games in a row now that Smoky Valley Home Educators has lost by exactly 12 points.

Smoky Valley Home Educators now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Wichita Defenders HomeSchool, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smoky Valley Home Educators will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Newton HomeSchool at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Wichita Defenders HomeSchool, they will be home for the holidays to greet Reno County HomeSchool at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
