It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Berkeley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs a 2-0 shutout. The Stags' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four matches.

Berkeley's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.5 runs. As for North Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.

As of now, neither Berkeley nor the Chiefs have any future games scheduled.
