Softball Recap: McBain Takes a Loss

McBain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Evart Wildcats. If the Ramblers were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McBain saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

McBain's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Evart, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McBain will welcome Pine River Area at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Evart, they will take on Ravenna at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
