Alcona posted their closest victory since August 20th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hale Eagles 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Alcona's win bumped their record up to 8-3-2. As for Hale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alcona will welcome Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hale, they will host Mio HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
