Nevada Union's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Val Ramirez led the charge by getting ten digs and two aces. Ramirez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Ramirez wasn't the only good servers: Nevada Union was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Miners are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Nevada Union's record now sits at 10-12. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
