Softball Game Preview: Blind Brook Trojans vs. Port Chester Rams

The Blind Brook Trojans will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Port Chester Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Blind Brook is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Port Chester. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 25-18 margin over the Rams back in March.

For Port Chester's part, Melina Morban led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamara Correia, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Blind Brook took their win against Port Chester when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 25-18 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
