If Bloom was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Crete-Monee last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blazing Trojan came up short against the Stagg Chargers on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The Blazing Trojan's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Bloom saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexandria Cowan, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another was Aryana Knaack, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Bloom's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Stagg, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1.

Coming up, Bloom will challenge Crete-Monee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blazing Trojan are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stagg, they will face off against Lyons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.57 runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
