            Softball Preview: Patton Panthers vs. East Burke Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            The Patton Panthers will face off against the East Burke Cavaliers at 11:00  a.m.  on Friday. Patton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season.
Having struggled with eight  defeats in a row, Patton  turned things around against Polk County  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp  12-1 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

It's a different story for East Burke, though, as  they've been averaging 12.1  hits. Given Patton's sizable advantage in that area, the Cavaliers will need to find a way to close that gap.
