Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Wins Going Away Against Parish Episcopal

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nolan Catholic, Trinity Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Parish Episcopal Panthers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-9, 25-15.

Trinity Christian can attribute much of their success to Sarah Wong, who had 17 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave Wong a new career-high.

Trinity Christian now has a winning record of 12-11-2. As for Parish Episcopal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Liberty Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Parish Episcopal will challenge rival Nolan Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
