Basketball Recap: Wrangell Comes Up Short

Wrangell lost to Metlakatla back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves were outmatched by the Chiefs and fell 55-25. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wrangell fell to 4-1. As for Metlakatla, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chiefs beat Wrangell by a score of 50-32 on Saturday.
