The Sharks will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Tabernacle Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shining Light Baptist Academy, who comes in off a win.

Shining Light Baptist Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They strolled past Hendersonville Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 43-27.

Shining Light Baptist Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rachel Nava-Gonzalez, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 16 points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds. Those 16 points gave Nava-Gonzalez a new career-high. Chelsea Murray was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.

Shining Light Baptist Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 57-19 loss at the hands of New Manna Christian. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Wind: they've now lost five in a row.

Shining Light Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Tabernacle Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Shining Light Baptist Academy might still be hurting after the 44-19 defeat they got from Tabernacle Christian in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Sharks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
