Basketball Recap: Louisiana Comes Up Short

Louisiana was the 36-34 winner over Elsberry when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Louisiana Bulldogs took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elsberry Indians.

Louisiana's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Elsberry, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clopton the next time they take the court. Elsberry will host Clopton on Friday, while Louisiana will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
