Baseball Recap: Kings Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Kings and Mason had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Kings' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mason, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings will venture away from home to take on Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mason, they will take on Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
