Sylva Bay Academy extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping them up to 12-5. They never let the Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Levi West made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two RBI and one run.

In other pitching news, Grayson Bean looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sylva Bay Academy is undefeated when Bean allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Back at the plate, Gage Kennedy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.

As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8. The matchup marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Hattiesburg HomeSchool's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Tapp, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Sylva Bay Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Paladins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.9 runs per game on average), something the Forerunners will no doubt try to take advantage of.
